It is my pleasure to introduce you to ‘The Hawkins Group of Companies’. We are a family owned organisation which has been trading since 1921, and whilst the business has changed dramatically since then, we still to this day consider all of our staff members a part of our family and genuinely care about the work environment that we provide.
I have never heard anyone say life is dull at Hawkins!
I personally work within each business unit once a month to make sure I understand the needs of our people as well as that of our customers. This takes me into the washroom at the truckstop, learning to make coffees and doing audits in a North Queensland depot. I always learn something new about my people, life in general and how every single role has it’s own challenges.
We operate a diverse business which encapsulates a transport business offering exceptional service, a magnificent vessel which travels to Moreton Island every day, Brisbane’s first fully recyclable truck wash and a truck stop which provides great food and fuel.
We employ around 150 fantastic people with positions available to suit every skill set and are always looking for motivated, happy people to join our exceptional team.
